EV Charger Giveaway — Terms & Conditions

The promoter is:

The prize draw opens at 00:01 on 1 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 31 October 2026, UK time.

Entries received after the closing time will not be included.

The prize draw is open to people who:

• are aged 18 or over;
• are UK residents;
• live within a 15-mile radius of TN8 5HQ; and
• have access to an eligible property within the same 15-mile radius where the charger can be installed.

The installation property must have suitable private off-street parking.

The entrant must either own the installation property or have written permission from the property owner, landlord and/or freeholder to have the EV charger installed.

Employees, contractors or agents of Voltsource Ltd, members of their immediate families and anyone directly involved in administering the promotion are not eligible to enter.

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

To enter on Facebook, entrants must:

• follow the Voltsource Facebook page;
• like the official giveaway post; and
• comment on the official giveaway post answering the giveaway question: “What EV do you drive, or what EV would you love to own?”

To enter on Instagram, entrants must:

• follow the Voltsource Instagram account;
• like the official giveaway post; and
• comment on the official giveaway post answering the giveaway question: “What EV do you drive, or what EV would you love to own?”

A maximum of one valid entry per person per platform is permitted.

An entrant who enters correctly on both Facebook and Instagram may therefore receive a maximum of two entries into the draw.

Multiple comments on the same platform will not create additional entries.

Sharing the post, tagging friends or sending the post to another person is welcomed but is not required to enter and will not provide additional entries or improve an entrant’s chances of winning.

Anonymous comments or entries, or entries where Voltsource Ltd cannot reasonably identify or verify the entrant, will not be included in the draw.

Comments must not contain material which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, defamatory, deliberately offensive or otherwise inappropriate, whether directed towards Voltsource Ltd, another entrant or any other person or organisation.

Comments must not infringe the rights of any third party or contain unsolicited advertising, spam or misleading information.

Voltsource Ltd reserves the right to remove or disregard comments which breach these requirements and to exclude the associated entry from the draw.

There is one prize consisting of:

One new NRG Charge Velox 7kW untethered EV charger in black, together with a standard installation by Voltsource Ltd.

The charger is untethered. A vehicle charging cable is not included, and the winner will need to provide their own compatible charging lead.

There is no cash alternative.

The charger and standard installation form one combined prize and the charger will not normally be supplied separately for self-installation.

The standard installation is intended to cover a straightforward domestic EV charger installation and includes:

• up to 10 metres of suitable electrical cable;
• a normal surface-mounted or clipped cable route;
• mounting the charger to a suitable existing wall or surface;
• standard fixings and electrical accessories;
• standard circuit protection required for the installation;
• a standard wall penetration where required;
• testing and commissioning of the charger; and
• the normal electrical certification and notification associated with the installation.

Where the existing consumer unit does not have suitable space for the EV charging circuit, the prize may include the installation of a small supplementary consumer unit dedicated to the EV charger, provided there is suitable space, access and a suitable electrical connection available.

The final design and installation method will be determined by Voltsource Ltd following the site survey and in accordance with applicable electrical requirements and the charger manufacturer’s installation instructions.

The person initially selected from the draw will be considered the provisional winner.

The prize will not be confirmed until Voltsource Ltd has completed a site survey and confirmed that the proposed property meets the qualifying criteria for the prize.

There will be no charge for the initial site survey.

The survey may consider matters including:

• the proposed cable route;
• electrical supply capacity;
• consumer unit arrangements;
• earthing;
• main protective bonding;
• accessibility;
• parking arrangements;
• the proposed charger position; and
• any other factors which affect the safe and compliant installation of the charger.

The provisional winner must provide reasonable access to the property to allow the survey to take place.

The site survey must also be available to be photographed and filmed by Voltsource Ltd and/or its appointed social media team in accordance with Section 12.

An entrant who is unwilling or unable to permit filming of the site survey will not qualify for the prize.

The prize does not include additional works outside the standard installation.

Examples may include:

• cable runs exceeding the included 10 metres;
• extensive concealed cable routes or difficult access beneath floors, through finished areas or within the building;
• trenching, excavation or other groundworks;
• lifting or reinstating paving, tarmac, concrete or landscaping;
• scaffolding, access towers or specialist access equipment;
• upgrades or replacement of the property’s existing main consumer unit, other than the supplementary EV consumer unit described above;
• installation or upgrading of main protective bonding or other earthing work;
• repairs or remedial work required to the existing electrical installation;
• work required because the existing installation is unsafe or unsuitable;
• work by the Distribution Network Operator, electricity supplier or meter operator;
• supply upgrades, service head or main fuse alterations, meter alterations or other network or supplier works;
• building work, plastering, decorating or making good;
• work involving suspected asbestos or other hazardous materials; or
• obtaining planning permission, landlord, freeholder or other third-party permissions.

Where additional work is required, Voltsource Ltd may provide the provisional winner with a quotation for that work.

The provisional winner is under no obligation to accept or pay for additional work.

If the provisional winner chooses to proceed, any additional work will be treated as a separate paid service and is not part of the prize.

If additional work is necessary for the installation to proceed safely and the provisional winner does not wish to proceed with it, their provisional selection will lapse and another entry will be drawn.

No payment is required simply to enter the promotion or to be selected for a standard qualifying installation.

Following the closing date, one provisional winner will be selected at random from all valid Facebook and Instagram entries.

The selection will be made using a verifiable random process and Voltsource Ltd will retain reasonable evidence of the draw.

The draw is based entirely on chance.

The wording or content of an entrant’s comment will not improve their chances of being selected, provided the comment complies with these terms and conditions.

Entries containing prohibited content as described in Section 4 may be excluded before the draw takes place.

Voltsource Ltd will contact the provisional winner using the Facebook or Instagram account through which their selected entry was made.

The provisional winner must respond within 48 hours of the first notification.

Voltsource Ltd will make reasonable attempts to contact the provisional winner. If they do not respond within the required period, Voltsource Ltd may withdraw their provisional selection and randomly select another entrant.

Entrants should be aware of fake or impersonator accounts.

Voltsource Ltd will not request bank details or payment simply to confirm that somebody has been selected as the provisional winner.

The provisional winner will become the confirmed winner once:

• their eligibility has been verified;
• the property has been surveyed;
• the installation has been confirmed as suitable under these terms, including any separately agreed additional works where applicable;
• any required property permissions have been confirmed; and
• the filming requirements for both the site survey and installation have been agreed.

If the provisional winner does not meet the qualifying criteria, another entrant may be selected at random from the remaining valid entries.

A condition of the prize is that Voltsource Ltd and/or its appointed social media team are permitted to photograph and film both the initial site survey and the EV charger installation.

This may include footage or photographs of:

• the installation property and proposed charger location;
• the existing electrical installation relevant to the survey;
• discussion and explanation of the proposed installation;
• the electrical installation and installation process;
• the charger;
• Voltsource personnel carrying out the survey or installation; and
• the completed installation.

The resulting content may be used by Voltsource Ltd on its website, Facebook, Instagram and other social media or marketing channels.

The entrant or winner is not required to personally appear on camera unless they separately agree to do so.

Voltsource Ltd will not require children or other household members to appear in promotional content without appropriate separate permission.

Voltsource Ltd will also take reasonable steps not to publish the property’s exact address or other information which unnecessarily identifies the property.

If the property owner is not the entrant, the entrant is responsible for obtaining the property owner’s permission for filming at the property.

An entrant who is unwilling or unable to permit filming of either the site survey or the installation will not qualify for the prize.

The confirmed prize may, with the prior agreement of Voltsource Ltd, be transferred to a relative of the selected entrant.

The nominated relative must satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements in these terms, including the age, geographical, property, survey and filming requirements.

The nominated installation property must also meet the standard installation criteria.

The prize cannot be sold, exchanged or transferred to an unrelated third party for financial gain.

There is no cash alternative.

The installation must normally take place within 90 days of the winner being confirmed, subject to Voltsource Ltd’s availability.

The winner must make the property reasonably available for both the site survey and installation during that period.

If the installation cannot take place within the 90-day period because of circumstances caused by or within the control of the winner, Voltsource Ltd may withdraw the prize and select another entrant.

Voltsource Ltd may agree a later installation date where there is a reasonable reason for doing so.

Voltsource Ltd intends to award the prize exactly as described.

If circumstances outside Voltsource Ltd’s reasonable control make this impossible, Voltsource Ltd may substitute the charger or another part of the prize with a reasonable equivalent.

The promotion will not be cancelled, extended or materially changed unless circumstances outside Voltsource Ltd’s reasonable control make this necessary and doing so would not unfairly disadvantage entrants.

To demonstrate that a valid prize has been awarded, Voltsource Ltd may publish or make available limited information about the confirmed winner, ordinarily their surname and county.

The winner may object to this information being published or ask for the amount of information published to be reduced by contacting hello@voltsource.co.uk.

Where required, Voltsource Ltd may still provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Personal information provided in connection with the prize draw will be used by Voltsource Ltd for the administration of the promotion, verification of eligibility, contacting the selected entrant, arranging the site survey and, where applicable, carrying out the installation.

Entry into the prize draw does not automatically consent the entrant to receiving unrelated marketing communications from Voltsource Ltd.

This promotion is run by Voltsource Ltd.

It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

By entering, participants acknowledge that Facebook and Instagram are not responsible for the administration of the promotion or fulfilment of the prize.

Voltsource Ltd reserves the right to reject entries which are fraudulent, automated, duplicated beyond the permitted entry limit or otherwise do not comply with these terms.

Voltsource Ltd is not responsible for entries which are not received because of technical problems outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights or liability which cannot legally be limited or excluded.

The promoter’s decision regarding the administration of the draw and application of these terms will be final, subject always to applicable law and regulation.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
